Doing Together What No Single Group Can Do Alone
Intergroup is not a governing body. It is the pooled effort of the AA groups in central Yavapai County, funded by contributions.
The Intergroup Committee

Where The Message Goes
Treatment Facilities
Brings meetings to treatment centers and recovery homes in Prescott and surrounding areas. Speakers and volunteers are needed year-round.
Committee meets the third Wednesday every other month, except September, at 7:00 pm. United Methodist Church, 505 W Gurley St, upstairs in Esther Hall. Call the office to check whether this month is one of them.
Area 03 Correctional Facilities
Takes meetings inside the county jail and juvenile detention, and works with Arizona Area 03 Corrections on Bridging the Gap.
Clearance takes time. Start by calling the office at 928-445-8691.
Public Information and C.P.C.
Answers questions from schools, employers, courts and health workers about what A.A. is and what it is not. Meets as needed.
Cooperation, not affiliation. We carry information, never endorsement.
Newsletter
Our monthly newsletter, Conscious Contact, features Intergroup news, articles on the Twelve Steps, and event flyers. All AA members are welcome to submit articles and flyers for upcoming events.
Send items to prescottaa@prescottaa.org by the 20th of the month.

Get involved
You Do Not Need A Title To Be Useful.
Most service in this office is one person doing one ordinary thing on a regular day. Tell the office what you can do and how often.
Take A Phone Shift
Three hours at the office desk, answering calls and handing out schedules.
Go On A Twelfth Step Call
Get on the volunteer list. Two members go out, never one alone.
Carry A Facility Meeting
Treatment and corrections both need speakers on a rotating schedule.
Represent Your Group
Bring your group conscience to the second Wednesday business meeting.
Write For The Newsletter
Group news, an anniversary, or a few hundred words on a Step.
Set Up The Picnic
Spring and summer picnics and the holiday Alcathon both run on
volunteers and group support.
